We are delighted to announce that our next production will be Monty Python’s “SPAMALOT”, which will be bursting onto the stage of the Nomad Theatre, East Horsley from 22nd to 25th May 2024. This hilarious and irreverent musical, based on the 1975 film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and written by Eric Idle and John du Prez, parodies the legends of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. The original 2005 Broadway production was nominated for 14 Tony awards, winning three, including Best Musical. King Arthur is on a quest to find the Holy Grail, with his coconut wielding servant, Patsy, and his brave (and not so brave) knights. Python fans will spot many familiar characters and situations from the original film, but a host of new characters, and new twists to the story transform it into an all-singing, all-dancing musical extravaganza! So “always look on the bright side of life” and join us in Camelot!
